Overseas Property continues to out-perform the banks
Research compiled by independent comparison site savingschampion.co.uk, has revealed that two in five savings accounts pay less than 0.5 per cent interest to their members and, even more shocking, a fifth of cash ISAs also pay below this threshold.
Quite to the contrary, the overseas property industry continues to vastly outperform these poor returns, with developers offering guaranteed rental income in the region of 5-8% annually. Furthermore, in certain offers, high annual rental returns are coupled with developer buyback guarantees, giving owners the peace of mind of a secure exit strategy whereby they are guaranteed to make a significant profit on their purchase.
Overseas property developers and agents Barrasford and Bird Worldwide have noticed a marked increase in the number of clients enquiring about overseas property as a more profitable alternative to bank savings accounts.
“We’ve experienced an influx of clients recently who have previously held their savings in banks or stocks and shares, but unfortunately they simply haven’t been generating good returns on these. A lot of people are now looking to invest in overseas property as the returns are just so much higher than in conventional savings methods. We are also currently offering 180% buyback guarantees on two of our products, providing an even stronger profit guarantee for our customers.”

Stock market lags behind property abroad for investor returns
After yet another period of stock market volatility, investors have increasingly moved towards the security of property. Experts have highlighted the fundamental stability of bricks and mortar as opposed to stocks and shares which are heavily affected by speculation and the daily change in investor attitudes.
Practical and high yielding, property has consistently outperformed Bonds and ISAs and has avoided the sharp fluctuations of the stock market. In these difficult times, no other investments today seem to offer the stability, simplicity and maximum returns that can be achieved from property.
One industry expert commented on the most recent dip in share prices saying, “It’s very difficult to make regular gains on the stock market at the moment. Property is far more reliable these days and its growth trends are consistent enough for investors to make more informed choices when looking for growth – with shares you may as well put your finger in the air and guess with the way things have been going!”
This seems to be the mentality of many investors who have been quick to buy property in new growth markets.
